Smooth Transition – NextGen User Upgrade 6.2021 to 159 or higher for LDAP Users

If you are a NextGen user upgrading to 6.2021 to 159 or higher using LDAP, we want to ensure that you experience a smooth transition.

In previous versions, there was a bug that allowed some users to log in to NextGen with an expired password if they use LDAP. With the 6.2021 patch 159, users will be forced to reset their NextGen password when it expires.

If you are preparing to upgrade to version 6.2021, your users will be required to update their NextGen password. Doing this in advance will prevent the delay of all users changing their passwords on the first day of upgrading.
