James Deck has announced his resignation from the position of MTS’ CEO and introduces his successor, Mona Abutaleb, the former CEO of mindSHIFT Technologies.
As another year rapidly draws to its close, I wanted to take the opportunity to once again thank you for your partnership and to wish you and your team a very happy upcoming holiday season.
I also wanted you to hear directly from me about some exciting changes that are coming to MTS. Having founded MTS more than a decade ago and having had the great privilege to work alongside so many innovative provider organizations like yours, I have made the decision to resign from my position as CEO but will remain an active member of the MTS Board. My decision to step away from the day to day duties of CEO was not easy or quickly considered. I know, however, it is the right decision for me and for MTS. In addition to remaining an active member on the MTS Board, I will also focus more of my energy on growing and maturing the CuragoHealth Platform.
I know I am leaving MTS in capable hands, and I am excited to announce that Mona Abutaleb will be assuming the role of CEO of MTS.
Mona is the former CEO of mindSHIFT Technologies, a managed IT and cloud services provider. Mona has a proven track record as not just a great leader, but as a service minded leader which was a key requirement for this role. I am confident Mona will deliver on our mission of being the best healthcare technology partner in the industry, enabling you to focus on delivering the best healthcare outcomes possible to your constituents. After guiding mindSHIFT through its acquisition by Ricoh, she also served as the Executive Vice President (EVP) and General Manager (GM) of Ricoh Global Services. I’ve had the good fortune to get to know Mona over the past year and I look forward to continuing our collaboration as I remain an active member of the board.
Mona is incredibly well-equipped and the right leader to take MTS forward. She also shares the fundamental belief that our success begins and ends with you, our customers and partners.
