Why should we do a Security Risk Assessment?

In alignment with the HIPAA Security Rule, healthcare organizations and their business associates must conduct a security risk assessment to evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic protected health information (ePHI). The MTS Security Risk Assessment (SRA) will help identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to ePHI, while also evaluating the likelihood and impact of these threats upon your healthcare organization and patients. As a client, you will then be able to implement the recommended security measures to mitigate identified risks. Or if desired, MTS can expand into remediation services for efficient mitigation deployment (with an additional quote as needed).
