
In rural Tennessee and Kentucky, residents typically don’t travel outside the confines of their small communities for essentials, such as groceries and healthcare. A significant number of people who reside in these areas live at or below the poverty line (between 15-21 percent, according to current statistics). These low-income residents don’t necessarily own a car. Often, they opt for public transportation or their own foot power to get around, which means that consistent on-time patient care is essential to the community.
Dayspring Health was struggling with outdated, on-premise infrastructure and unreliable internet connectivity. With seven clinics, over 100 staff, and thousands of annual patient visits, minor technical issues led to disruptions in delivering patient care.
